Weapons, ammunition, explosives recovered from terrorists involved in multiple attacks

Security forces kill 18 terrorists linked to the Indian proxy group Fitna al Hindustan in two separate operations in Balochistan on 28 and 29 October.

An intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Chiltan Mountains area of Quetta District targeted the reported presence of terrorists. “During the operation, our troops effectively engaged the terrorists’ location, and after an intense exchange of fire, 14 Indian-sponsored terrorists were neutralised and sent to hell,” the ISPR said.

In a second operation in Buleda, Kech District, a terrorist hideout was raided and four terrorists were “successfully neutralised”. Weapons, ammunition and explosives were recovered from the terrorists, who were reportedly involved in multiple terrorist activities.

“Sanitisation operations are ongoing to eliminate any remaining Indian-sponsored terrorists in the area,” the ISPR added.

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have commended security forces for two successful operations against terrorists of Fitna al Hindustan in Quetta and Kech districts.

In a statement, President Asif Ali Zardari said the security forces under “Azm e Istehkam” are committed to eliminating terrorism.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in a statement, said the entire nation stands with the security forces in the fight against terrorism. He reiterated the firm commitment to eradicating terrorism in all its forms from the country.

An attack on the Jaffer Express took place on Wednesday night, with terrorists launching four rockets at the passenger train. Security forces quickly retaliated, foiling the attack and forcing the assailants to flee.

At least 13 people, including two police personnel, were injured in a hand grenade attack on a police van in Dera Murad Jamali on Wednesday.

According to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ghulam Sarwar Bhayo, unidentified assailants hurled a hand grenade at a police vehicle on routine patrol near Shah Petrol Pump. The explosion left 13 people injured, including police constables, women, and children.
