BARABANKI: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday asserted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will form the government again after the Lok Sabha polls, adding that even Lord Ram is one of his “ardent followers”. He claimed he wanted to win.
With the fourth phase of voting underway, “Modi’s wave has now turned into a tsunami,” he said at a campaign rally in support of Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Rajrani Rawat in Hydargarh.
Mr. Adityanath said that under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, everyone, irrespective of cast or community, has benefited from the development schemes.
The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister said, “Our beloved Lord Ram also wishes that his ardent devotee will once again take over the reins of the country.”
He blamed the Congress and the Samajwadi Party and said, “They have a history of fraud. These people are making exaggerated claims, but the truth is that in their time people died of hunger, farmers committed suicide. And young people were emigrating.”
“But we are all witnesses to the changes that have taken place in the last decade under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi. In the last four years, 800 million people have received free ration and 12 million farmers have received kisan. We are benefiting from Samman Nidhi,” Adityanath said.
Voting for Barabanki Lok Sabha seat will be held on May 20 in the fifth phase.
