2024 Lok Sabha Elections Live: Jammu and Kashmir BJP general secretary says ‘Cross-border terrorism has almost ended in the last decade’
Indian Lok Sabha Elections 2024 Live: Ahead of tomorrow’s vote, Jammu and Kashmir BJP general secretary Ashok Kaul said, “During the last 10 years of our government’s tenure, cross-border terrorism and firing incidents have almost come to an end. The people living near the border do not feel the need to avail of government-provided bunkers. Pakistan appears to be facing internal divisions. As the people of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) themselves may express a desire to merge with us, I do not see any need to take any proactive steps. In such a scenario, our government would warmly welcome their decision.”
