MYSURU: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi faces fear of losing the next elections. The Karnataka CM claimed that PM Modi is not as confident as he was before the polls began and that is why he is making emotional statements in a desperate bid to sway voters.
Reacting to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s statement that the opposition is trying to bury him, he said, “No one can bury anyone. The opposition is only against him… they want to defeat him politically. It is said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been the Prime Minister for 10 years.” He has not done anything for the poor and he is a master of lies (Sreena Saradhara) and promises to the people. Nothing has been fulfilled. ”
He added, “The country is not developing…the poor are not thriving. When this was exposed, people realized that he was lying and trying to exploit them with emotional stories. So People will never vote again, the people who went to vote,” he added. “What goes up must come down,” he said.
He spoke to media persons near his home in Mysuru on Saturday.
On former CM BS Yediyurappa’s demand for farm loan waiver, he said, “When Yediyurappa was the Chief Minister and they asked for it, he said he did not have the printing press to print it. What moral right does he have to ask for it now?A Congress-led coalition government will come to power at the Center and waive farm loans,” CM Siddaramaiah said.
