NASHIK/MUMBAI: Launching a scathing attack on the Indian bloc, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday claimed that the opposition-led Congress wants 15 per cent budget allocation for religious minorities.
“Congress believes that 15 percent of the total budget provided by the national government should be used only for minorities, which means that the budget should also be divided on the basis of religion. and even now we have different kinds of divisions on the basis of religion,” PM Modi said at an election rally in the Nashik-Dindori onion belt of Maharashtra state.
“Prime Minister Modi is providing free rations, access to tap water, pucca houses, gas connections, etc. to the poor without discrimination,” he said.
PM Modi said Babasaheb Ambedkar was against granting reservations on the basis of religion. “But now Congress wants to take reservations for SC, ST and OBC communities and give them to their vote bank. Let me make this clear to India that I will not bifurcate the budget on the basis of religion. , we will not allow them to provide any reserves,” he said. He said.
“For the Congress, there is only one minority – the vote bank that the Congress supports. When I was the (Gujarat) chief minister, I proposed that the Congress spend 15% of its budget only on Muslims. I vividly remember it. And I am grateful.”Despite the strong opposition of the BJP, the Congress failed in its attempt and now they are reviving these old agendas. I am determined. ”
The Indian bloc and its Congress allies in Maharashtra have attacked NCP (SP) supremo Sharad Pawar and Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Uddhav Thackeray, branding Maha Vikas Aghadi a “sinful partnership”. called.
“The Indian Alliance knows that it would be a huge feat for them to lose their ‘first’ party (Congress) and even become an opposition party. I am suggesting that political parties should be merged with the Congress so that they can at least stand as opposition parties…The pseudo-Shiv Sena and the pseudo-NCP will definitely be subsumed into the Congress. When that happens, I am Balasaheb Thackeray. It will be recalled that he believed that the day Shiv Sena started on the Congress path would be the end of his Shiv Sena,” he said, adding that NCP (SP) supremo Sharad Pawar and lashed out at Mr. Shiv. Uddhav Thackeray, head of Sena (UBT).
He further said, “The fake Shiv Sena has shattered all dreams of Balasaheb Thackeray. His visions include building a grand Ram Mandir in Ayodhya and abrogating Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir. These dreams have come true, but the fake Shiv Sena is showing the most remarkable results.” Like the Congress, they rejected the invitation to consecrate the temple, but while the Congress members grow hateful about the Mandir, their sinful partnership remains exposed to the entire state of Maharashtra.
Prime Minister Modi also told voters that the parliamentary polls were aimed not just at electing MPs but also at electing a “strong prime minister”.
“We take inspiration from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj…This election is not just about choosing MPs, it is also about choosing a Prime Minister…A Prime Minister who can take tough and big decisions to make India strong. ,” PM Modi said at an election rally in Nashik. -Dindri onion belt of Maharashtra.
Amid thunderous applause and chants of “Modi, Modi, Modi,” he said, “In the next election, we must elect a prime minister who can boldly make big decisions.”
