591 killed, 200 children dead as Israel breaks ceasefire during Ramadan

In just three days since Israel shattered the ceasefire, Palestinian lives have once again been plunged into devastation.

The renewed aggression has already claimed the lives of at least 591 Palestinians, including 200 children, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry.

Over 1,040 people have been injured, many critically, in a relentless wave of airstrikes, ground incursions, and artillery bombardment.

The most harrowing assault unfolded today in Rafah’s central Shaboura neighborhood, where Israeli forces launched a full-scale invasion.

The densely populated area in southern Gaza, once a fragile refuge for tens of thousands of displaced families, has now become another epicenter of horror.

Residents describe scenes of chaos, with families torn apart, homes leveled, and emergency services unable to keep up with the mounting casualties.

The renewed military campaign comes despite global calls for restraint and ceasefire adherence during Ramadan—a time of spiritual reflection and peace for Muslims.

Instead, Palestinians are breaking their fasts in makeshift tents and hospitals, surrounded by grief, hunger, and fear.

Beyond Gaza, the regional situation is rapidly deteriorating. In solidarity with Palestine, Yemen’s Houthi movement claimed missile strikes targeting Israel, further escalating tensions in the region.

Meanwhile, Israeli warplanes bombed villages in southern and eastern Lebanon, raising fears of another front opening up in the already volatile Middle East.

Inside Israel, opposition is growing. Thousands of Israelis have taken to the streets in Jerusalem, demanding Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu step down and protesting his far-right government’s handling of the war.

Clashes broke out between demonstrators and police, reflecting internal dissent amid spiraling violence.

Palestinians and their allies say this latest offensive is part of a broader effort to erase Palestinian presence, using military power to forcibly displace, punish, and control an already besieged population. Human rights groups have slammed Israel’s actions as collective punishment and a breach of international law.

“We are asking for legal position. Whats going on in Gaza?” said a spokesperson for the Palestinian Centre for Human Rights. “Rule of jungle in the eye of storm What is the word waiting for? Where are the shard values?”

As the world watches, Gaza once again burns. The silence of the international community, the hollow statements of “concern,” and the absence of concrete action are being felt most by the people digging their loved ones out of rubble with bare hands.
