1 killed, 1 injured in crash on Sacramento Business 80; driver arrested for suspected DUI
A driver is suspected of drunk driving after a Sunday night crash along Business 80 in Sacramento that left one person dead and another injured. According to California Highway Patrol traffic records, the two-vehicle crash was reported around 9:15 p.m. along the northbound freeway lanes near the Exposition Boulevard exit ramp. According to California Highway Patrol, a man driving a Nissan Altima rear-ended a Toyota Corolla and crashed into the median. The driver of the Corolla drove off, while the driver of the Altima was taken to a hospital with unknown injuries. A female passenger in the Altima died at the scene. The passenger’s age was not available, according to California Highway Patrol. Officers later located the driver of the Corolla and arrested him on suspicion of drunk driving.
