This week alone, she has been spotted wearing four different but equally striking ‘fits’, ranging from a spring 2004 Dior dress to a spring 2024 Gucci shorts suit, which are All of the pieces were worn to press the newly released fragrance “Overa.” For her launch, Hadid brought on stylist Molly Dixon, best known for her work with Sidney Sweeney, and the pair quickly got to work, resulting in near-perfect results. And while it’s nearly impossible to wear anything more iconic than Galliano’s original from the early ’20s, another of Hadid’s outfits this week caught my attention even more.
After shooting a segment with The Drew Barrymore Show, Hadid was photographed wearing a look from Ferragamo’s Spring/Summer 2024 collection designed by Maximilian Davis. This look pairs a cropped black bomber jacket with fitted capri pants, similar to the Pedal Pusher silhouette, which was popular in the 1950s. To the duo, she added curve-heel mules, also from Ferragamo, and wire-rimmed sunglasses.
Capri pants like Hadid’s are slowly but surely heating up in the fashion world, appearing at the likes of Tory Burch, Miller Palais and 3.1 Phillip Lim after turning heads on the spring runways. And now that these collections are available for purchase, the trend is gaining even more popularity despite its controversial reputation. Hadid’s endorsement will surely put all doubts to rest and set the stage for a capri-dominated summer.
