ALEXANDRIA — The Ridgewater baseball team ended the 2024 regular season with two losses to Alexandria Technical and Community College on Sunday.

The Legends earned their second 16-2 win in five innings against Ridgewater. The Warriors finished the regular season with a record of 12-8 in the Minnesota College Athletic Conference Central Division and 16-16 overall. Alexandria Tech finished 17-3 in conference play and 26-10 overall.

Jayden Dorrill led the way for the Legends in Game 2, going 3-for-3 with a double, three RBIs, one RBI, and one walk. Karen O’Connell also hit a home run at Alexandria Tech.

In the second game, Ridgewater got two hits from Sam Etterman and one hit each from Hank Balson, Luke Rueter and Nick Schmidt.

Carter Lang hit four home runs in Game 1 for the Legends, going 4-for-5 with five RBIs and eight RBIs. Jasmar Ortiz-Aponte, who was 2-for-4 at bat, also hit a home run for Alexandria Tech.

New Prague University freshman Nolan Eischens went 3-for-3 with a double, an RBI and an RBI in the Warriors’ first game.
