PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The passage of a cold front is producing scattered showers and thunderstorms that are expected to linger into the area late this evening before the rain finally tapers off into the morning.

Monday will be cloudy, warm and muggy, but the weather will remain dry by late evening with a chance of rain.
Tuesday will be mainly dry in the morning and early afternoon. Still, depending on how this next system evolves, we’re looking at the possibility of strong to severe storms late afternoon into Tuesday evening.
Scattered showers and storms are possible for the remainder of this week, with temperatures in the very high 70s, before dropping back to near normal 60 degrees by next weekend.
