At the 2024 ASBTDC Spring Network Conference in Little Rock, consultants from the University of Arkansas’ Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center were recognized for their outstanding performance within the statewide network.

The Capital Acquisition Award of Excellence recognizes top performers based on the amount of financing and other forms of capital investment they have helped clients achieve. Center Director Mary Beth Brooks supported her with $14 million, and business consultant Lori Lieblong helped her achieve $7 million in capital acquisitions. Mr. Brooks and Mr. Leebron were also recognized for the number of capital projects funded.

Catherine Corey, Business and Innovation Consultant. Carolina Mejia, bilingual business consultant. Mr. Brooks also received the annual Employee Excellence Award as a Value Ambassador. This award recognizes excellence in service, integrity, collaboration, impact, and inclusion.

The University of Arkansas’ Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center helps small businesses in Northwest Arkansas thrive. With offices in Fayetteville and Bentonville, ASBTDC Consultants offers his clients free, one-on-one, confidential consulting and in-person and virtual training to help entrepreneurs gain the knowledge and skills to succeed. and workshops.

U of A’s ASBTDC is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration through a partnership with the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and is a division of the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville’s Department of Economic Development.
