The USA TODAY High School Sports Awards announces the 2023-24 All-USA TODAY HSSA boys hockey team.
These 25 All-American team members will be honored as nominees for National Youth Hockey Player of the Year. Winners will be announced in August in a series of announcements featuring top athletes in 35 boys and girls sports award categories, as well as special honors including Special Olympics Athlete of the Year, Play of the Year, and Team of the Year. Honors will also be announced. !
Athletes were considered based on overall season performance with emphasis on state playoffs and championships, as well as other state, regional, and/or national recognition. Team performance was also taken into account. Players who played less than half of their team’s season schedule or whose team did not participate in a state-sanctioned league with a tournament championship were not considered this year.
