Decoding Farooq Abdullah’s threat: OPED

Farooq Abdullah has dreamed of ruling Kashmir. To align with the people of the state, he wants the Delhi government to have a dialogue with Pakistan. He hardly notices that India has changed. India is now ruled by Indian nationalists rather than sectarian or divisive forces.

“Pakistan Se Bat Nahin Karogei to Kashmir Gaza Banega“(If we don’t talk to Pakistan, Kashmir will become Gaza)” is former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah’s latest battle cry on Kashmir.

As parliamentary elections get into full swing, criticism from India’s opposition parties has become louder and more scolding. Abdullah is an opposition leader and tireless critic of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government.

His belief is that dialogue with Pakistan is the way to resolve the Kashmir issue. He warns without hesitation. If we fail to do so, Gaza will be recreated in Kashmir. The former state premier did not say what the government should discuss with whom.

A few years ago, a representative of the party’s former parliamentarian was ordered to hold secret meetings with top Pakistani officials. According to revelations by none other than Omar Abdullah, Farooq Abdullah’s son and former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, the unnamed representative has been traveling back and forth between Srinagar and Islamabad for over a year.

These secret visits and talks took place when the Congress was in power in Delhi. Simply put, that meant that no mission to Pakistan could be carried out without a green light from the “high command.”

The outcome of these talks remains a closely guarded secret, known only to Farooq Abdullah and his associates. However, the results were visible on the ground, so the tangible results could not be hidden for too long.

As a result of these talks, attacks against Kashmiri Hindus occurred in Anantnag district in 1986. After that, bombings and shootings occurred from 1986 to 1989-1990. In short, Farooq Abdullah achieved what he wanted through a year of talks between his authorized representatives authorized by Congress and Pakistani intelligence agencies.

Reports of atrocities committed against Hindu religious minorities in Anantnag district in 1986 were quashed with astonishing speed. No local or national newspapers were allowed to cover the story.

There are two reasons why Anantnag district was chosen for communal clashes. Firstly, the central figure in the conspiracy, the Pradesh Congress president, was a popular leader in Anantnag district. Secondly, Anantnag district has traditionally been a stronghold of Jamaat-e-Islam., Their activists played a major role in the looting and arson of Hindu lands.

Later, the “secular” Indian state chose the same person as its home minister. He ordered the army and police to remain confined in their barracks while the massacre of Hindus in the valley continued. The secret mission that began several years ago ended in the complete ethnic cleansing of Kashmir.

The “free and fair” press of “democratic and secular” India did not publish a single paragraph about the fate of the Hindu minority in south Kashmir.

Backed by armed jihadists based in Pakistan and assisted by a receptive and hospitable host in the valley, those behind the curtain are on two fronts: the ethnic cleansing of Kashmir and the liberation of radical Islamic ideology. We accomplished our mission with their cooperation. Sultans of Delhi.

My question to Farooq Abdullah is, in this context, why do you want talks with Pakistan when you have already achieved more than what you had planned in the 1980s or in 1974? be.

In 1974, Abdullah flew from London and landed in Mirpur (Pakistani-controlled Kashmir) to address a large conference. On the podium, he picked up a gun, held it aloft and declared that if Kashmiris were not given azadi (freedom), Kashmiris would pick up guns. Photos of this charismatic gun wielder went viral at the time. Farooq Abdullah has been dreaming of Kashmir and Gaza since 1974, and that dream continues today.

Farooq’s North Carolina miscreants committed massive fraud in the 1986 J&K assembly elections, manhandled and humiliated candidates of the Jamaat-i-Islami-backed Islamic United Front (MUF), and as a result, the jihadist organization helped create a strong pro-Pakistan constituency in the valley with participation. After that, KLF, JKLF, HuM, etc. rapidly increased.

Sayyid Salahud Din, the current chief executive of HuM, based in Muzaffarabad (Pakistani-administered Kashmir), is from the same MUF. With the Congress government colluding with Farooq’s NC, the MUF appealed strongly to the federal authorities against the blatant electoral fraud, but no one responded.

Ten years later, in 1996, Congress recalled the same Mr. Farooq from London, where he had fled after setting fire to Kashmir. While playing golf in London, he enjoyed the sadistic satisfaction of destroying the land his dynasty had ruled for over 50 years. J&K State was again served to him on a platter in the same manner as it was served to his father by the Congress leadership on October 28, 1947.

Yes, we know why Farooq Abdullah wants the NDA government to have a dialogue with Pakistan. He clearly understands that nationalist India has shed the mask of pseudo-secularism that Congress strongmen have put on for 60 years. Much to Abdullah’s frustration, the bride of a powerful man has eluded him, and with each passing day, the distance between her and his wife grows wider.

Prime Minister Farooq Abdullah has stepped up his anti-Modi attacks as elections in the country in general and Kashmir in particular reach a climax. It won’t be long before we find out why.

Mr. Modi has been campaigning against dynastic rule since day one. The chairman of the Gupkar Alliance, an alliance that cries for complete autonomy for Kashmir, has become part of a gang that wants to ensure dynastic rule. (People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration is an initiative of several states in Jammu and Kashmir who are campaigning for autonomy for the region by restoring the special status of the erstwhile state under Article 35A. ) is a political alliance between political parties.

In desperation, he finally clung to the trump card he had used so often, albeit in disguise. He feels that his specialty, doublespeak, has no takers.

Therefore, Farooq Abdullah shed all inhibitions and antics and showed his true colors. “They’re $770 billion, we’re $240 billion. They can’t hold us down,” is his latest hyperbole.

He believes that the dissonance between “them” and “us” provides him and the party with a litmus test of the leadership’s true popularity. He refuses to learn the lessons of the last two elections, which permanently established that India will be ruled by nationalists rather than sectarian or divisive forces.

Secondly, India’s real strength lies in Sanatan Dharma, or universalist ideology. Fake politicians make fun of themselves by wearing sacred threads on their jackets or by painting vermilion dots on their foreheads. It is not people but time that has made people unnecessary.

There is also another side to this story. Recent jihadi attacks in Poonch, Surankot, Rajouri, Kokalnag, Baramulla, Sopore, Basant Garh and other places in the state have seen hundreds of jihadi fighters from various Pakistan-based terror groups resort to latest tactics. This indicates that they are active in logistics.

Militancy has not ended in Kashmir. Abdullah is right when he says that terrorism will never end. The reason is the existence of thousands of Islamic seminaries where students are indoctrinated with jihadism from a very early age.

In fact, what he fears is the impending backlash of the doubly revitalized Islamic radicalism that he and his Gupkar allies have been cultivating passionately but secretly in Kashmir for years. We have reached a saturation point. The sitting ducks fly away to other wetlands and cannot be seen in Kashmir. Jihadists are looking for targets.

Islam has deliberately and covertly infiltrated public and private life, indeed, into every strata of Kashmir. Its tentacles can be found in people’s stories, conversations, kitchens, restaurants, grocery stores, hospitals, eateries, vegetable and fruit vending corners, taxi stands, train stations, bus stops, barber shops, boutiques, tourist taxis, houseboats, etc. It’s everywhere, including pharmacies. A life path that one can imagine.

Farooq Abdullah is therefore right to infer that extremism – of which he is a beneficiary – will surely boomerang in the form of the Arab Spring and will never disappear from Kashmir.

The loss of the Kashmir Sultanate to the Kashmiri dynasty was not due to the Modi government’s hostile machinations, a line Farooq Abdullah is very keen to embrace, but read the writing on the wall. It is because of his indomitable desire to do so. He is walking the same path that the Sultans of Kashmir walked in the medieval period. The result is no different.

No one will tell him that he has already made Kashmir a second Gaza. If you can’t get enough of his sadism, you can also opt for the Kashmir/Gaza grand finale.
