This week, political news headlines continue to raise questions about the looming presidential election. Adult film star Stormy Daniels took the stand during the third week of former President Donald Trump’s hush money trial. The length of President Trump’s trial has led some Republicans, including Speaker Mike Johnson, to consider the possibility of a public indictment of the sitting president.

Meanwhile, Gov. Kristi Noem, rumored to be President Trump’s running mate, abruptly ended her memoir tour. I can’t go back now, published this month.
