Voting for the fourth phase of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections will be held on Monday, May 13 in 96 assembly constituencies across nine states and one union territory. All 175 seats in Andhra Pradesh Assembly and all 28 seats in Odisha Assembly went to polls on the same day. Voting will begin at 7 am and continue till 6 pm in all Lok Sabha and Assembly constituencies.
Voting will be for all 17 Lok Sabha seats in Telangana, 25 seats in Andhra Pradesh, 13 seats in Uttar Pradesh, 5 seats in Bihar, 4 seats in Jharkhand, 8 seats in Madhya Pradesh, and 11 seats in Maharashtra. The elections will be held in 4 seats in Odisha and 8 seats in West Bengal. The other is in Jammu and Kashmir.

Lok Sabha Elections 2024 Phase 4: Key Updates
- The Election Commission of India has announced that a total of 1,717 candidates from 10 states/UTs will contest elections in the fourth phase of Lok Sabha polls. According to the poll committee, a total of 4,264 candidates were filed for 96 parliamentary constituencies.
- According to the Election Commission, Telangana received the most candidate forms (1,488), followed by Andhra Pradesh with 1,103 nominations from 25 constituencies.
- Polling hours have been extended from 7 am to 6 pm in some assembly areas of Telangana’s 17 assembly constituencies to increase voter participation, the poll body said on Sunday.
- This will be the first major election in Kashmir since Article 370 was abrogated in August 2019.
- The Bharatiya Janata Party-led NDA has more than 40 of these 96 seats and will vote in the fourth phase of the Sabah polls.

- TMC’s Mahua Moitra, who was expelled from the Lok Sabha over allegations of cash-for-questions, is seeking re-election from Krishnagar in West Bengal. In Asansol, the fight is heating up between film star-turned-politician Shatrughan Sinha and veteran BJP leader SS Ahluwalia.
- The India Meteorological Department has predicted that temperatures are likely to be normal to below normal in parliamentary constituencies where voting will be held in the fourth phase and that these areas will not experience heat wave-like conditions on polling day.
- The voter turnout in the first three phases of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections was 66.14 per cent, 66.71 per cent and 65.68 per cent respectively.
