New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday claimed that the Bharatiya Janata Party has succeeded in winning 270 of the 379 seats polled in the first four phases of the assembly polls. He added that the only objective left for the Bharatiya Janata Party now is to cross the 400 mark.

Immediately after submitting his nomination for prime minister, Shah told a rally in West Bengal that he was confident that his Bharatiya Janata Party had already won more than a majority of seats.

“Four-phase voting has been completed and elections for 380 seats have been completed. Elections for 18 seats have been completed in Bengal. Today, I am confident that out of 380 seats, Prime Minister Modi has already won 270 seats and is absolutely certain. I can say that we have achieved a large number.The next fight is to exceed 400,” Shah said.

Opposition parties had accused the Bharatiya Janata Party of being silent on the ‘400 Pals’ claim after the first and second phase elections, but the Prime Minister and the Home Minister recently reiterated the claim. Ta.

The Prime Minister said in an interview that it is now realistic for the NDA to cross 400. Similarly, Shah said in an interview to a daily that the NDA would “definitely get more than 400 seats” and there were no “ifs” or “buts”.

In its pursuit of 400 seats, the BJP had secured 160 seats, which it narrowly lost in 2019. The focus seats were reserved for at least a year and a half before the elections, and the BJP aimed to win at least 50% of the 160 seats.

At these seats, the party held numerous booth strengthening exercises, rallies by senior leaders and ministers in Lok Sabha Pravas, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Party President JP Nadda, Home Minister Amit Shah and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh. program has been implemented.

Most of the seats identified were in Odisha, West Bengal, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Punjab and Andhra Pradesh.
