Several business owners on Jacksonville’s East Side said they hope growth from the stadium will continue toward them.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The stadium of the future will cost $1.4 billion to build, but how much of an impact will it have on people living near Jaguars Stadium?

“I could only imagine how much money this would bring to the city,” Robinson said. “It’s coming for a few small businesses, it’s coming for large businesses, it’s coming for small businesses, and we all have a chance to thrive.”

The Jaguars Stadium deal is currently being considered by the Jacksonville City Council. Although there is a long way to go before it is officially approved, Out East business owners hope the new stadium will highlight everything their community has to offer.
