FOREST, Va. – Washington and Lee won all three ODAC Commissioner’s Cups, giving the Generals their 22nd consecutive Dan Wooldridge Overall Champions Cup and 21st consecutive ODAC Women’s Commissioner’s Cup award. As determined by the ODAC Board of Directors, ODAC Commissioner’s Cup points will be determined based on regular season standings in team sports and championship team finishes in individual/competition sports. Each organization has a total number of points that they can collect based on their sports sponsorship. We determine each institution’s rating by dividing the total number of points earned by the total number of points available.
In men’s sports, he earned 116 of 133 points by finishing the regular season as the top seed in men’s lacrosse, soccer and tennis, and earned the most points in swimming with the Generals championship trophy. The Blue & White defeated the Hornets’ 98.5 points and returned the trophy to Lexington.
On the women’s side, W&L was the top-seeded team in women’s basketball, tennis and lacrosse, winning ODAC titles in all three. At the women’s swimming championships, the Generals also earned the most points in the standings. The Blue and White scored 122 out of a total of 135 points. Lynchburg was second behind the girls with 114 points.
