BENTON, AR – The owner of Revival Restaurant & Beer Garden in Benton says he’s tired of the disrespect his business is receiving.
Four years ago, Heather Roe opened a restaurant in downtown Benton that she hoped would become a family favorite. Instead, they had to pay for the children damaging the furniture and causing a commotion.
“Kids mess up equipment, they mess up furniture, they get on stage during live performances,” Law explained.
She said she and other employees have asked parents to watch their children, but nothing much has changed.
She replaced four loungers and other restaurant furniture. She says everything has become too expensive and she hopes the new restrictions will make a difference and save money.
“For beer gardens that have expensive equipment, nicer furniture, etc., we want to target people over 16,” Loh said.
She said she has received a lot of support from people on social media and is now just hoping customers will respect the new rules.
“We want our customers to understand that we’re here for a reason and there’s a place for people to hang out,” Roe said.
