It’s moving day in Valhalla.

Saturday’s PGA Championship begins with Xander Schauffele leading by one stroke. He’s led this far, something only five other golfers have accomplished in the past 40 years.

But right behind him is a swarm of golfers ready to pounce on Louisville. Collin Morikawa made a comeback. Saheth Segala made it to the final group. Despite the arrest, Scotty Scheffler shot a 66 on Friday to start the third round at T4. Bryson DeChambeau is also right. You may continue.

But Tiger Woods is not in that mess. He had a tough start on Friday, falling to just seven over, becoming one of the players who missed out on qualifying. The good news is that the weather looks to be nice on Friday after a long day of rain.

Regardless of the outcome, moving day is sure to be a very eventful day.

At the PGA Championship, Xander Schauffele led after both rounds. But historically, that doesn’t bode well for him.

Xander Schauffele became the sixth player in the last 40 years to hold an outright lead in the first and second rounds at the PGA Championship.

Of the previous five, only one went on to win, Brooks Koepka, who led by seven points.

Fog delays end of round 2 and start of round 3

As of 9 a.m. Saturday morning, the second round of the PGA Championship had not yet ended, with a group of six teams still on the course, and the third round had not yet begun. The entire course is shrouded in fog and play cannot begin until the fog clears. After all, you can’t play golf if you can’t find the ball.

Here is the official PGA report:

UPDATE: Due to heavy fog, the restart of Round 2 has been postponed until further notice. Resume will occur 30 minutes after the game becomes playable.

Round 3 start times will be from approximately 11:17am to approximately 1:40pm, with players starting in groups of three from tees #1 and #10.

“Update: Due to heavy fog, the restart for Round 2 will be postponed until further notice. The restart will be 30 minutes after conditions are playable. Start times for Round 3 will be the same for #1 and #10. We will start at the tee in groups of three from 11:17 a.m. to approximately 1:40 p.m. ”

The good news is the weather looks stable for the rest of the weekend. Therefore, the course may be crowded over the next few days, but you should be able to finish the entire tournament on time. Knock on every piece of wood you can find.
