Mumbai: Voting in 13 Lok Sabha constituencies in Maharashtra, including six in Mumbai, will be held on Monday in the fifth and final phase of the state’s general elections.

The Mumbai Police will mobilize close to 30,000 security personnel to ensure smooth voting in the city, an official said earlier. At least 2,752 police officers and 27,460 other personnel, including three units of riot police, will be on bandobust duty on polling day in the national capital region, they said.
According to sources, five police officers of the rank of additional police commissioner, 25 deputy commissioners of police (DCPs) and 77 assistant commissioners of police (ACPs) will lead various teams during the bandobast.
