This afternoon will be mostly cloudy across southern Maine, with sunshine expected in much of northern and New Hampshire. Temperatures will be near normal, with highs in the 60s in most areas. Monday morning will become gradually clearer, followed by a sunny and mild afternoon with temperatures in the upper 60s to lower 70s. The heat will increase on Tuesday, with highs reaching the 80s. The warmest day of the week will be Wednesday, with temperatures reaching the 80s. A chance of rain showers cannot be ruled out Wednesday afternoon, especially in northern Maine. Otherwise, it will be a mostly sunny summer-like afternoon. A cold front will move through later in the week, bringing in a cooler air mass heading into Memorial Day weekend, but temperatures will still be seasonal, with highs in the 60s to 70s. Probably.
