WHEELING, WV (WTRF) –

It’s a nearly century-old tradition here in the Friendly City…

This Saturday, Jamboree USA brings a new show to the Capitol Theater stage. National and local musicians will perform, but this time it’s for a local cause.

A portion of the show’s proceeds will be donated to Ignite Hope. Ignite Hope is a nonprofit organization dedicated to spreading awareness and knowledge to combat human trafficking crimes in the region.

Funds raised will benefit scholarships for survivors of human trafficking.

We are truly blessed to have so many great people in the Valley who bring us together. This is another example of communities supporting each other. Please come and support us at Ignite Hope and Jamboree on Saturday. It’s a family show.

Stacey Gilson, founder of Ignite Hope.

Ignite Hope seeks to help those affected by human trafficking. Therefore, we want to contribute to that advancement to help them build a foothold in the fight against human trafficking in this region.

Dave Heath, president of nonprofit Wheeling Jamboree

National touring band Exile will be the headliner, while local favorites JoAnn Jones and Tristan Smith will also take the stage.

Doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets may be purchased in advance at the WesBanco Arena box office, online via e-tix or by calling 304-233-4470.
