The Ladies Professional Golf Association of America (LPGA) has been named a finalist in five categories for the Engagement Academy of Sports and Entertainment’s sixth annual Hashtag Sports Awards, which recognize and honor excellence in engagement in the sports, media and entertainment industries and highlight efforts that inspire new and creative fan experiences.
The LPGA recognized finalists in the following categories:
- Content | Best Women’s Sports Content: Drive On: LPGA All Access
- Impact | Best Engagement for Good: LPGA Foundation (LPGA*USGA Girls Golf) – 1 Million MORE Girls Campaign
- Video | Best Documentary: Feature: “The Shot” – 25th Anniversary of Pak Se-ri’s 1998 U.S. Women’s Open Championship
- Video | Best Original Movie or Series: Feature Film: Drive On: LPGA All Access
- Brands & Partnerships | Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging: Grant Thornton Invitational – Two Tours, One Sport
This year’s winners will be announced on June 6, 2024 in New York City, where industry leaders will gather to celebrate excellence across a variety of sectors.
