Delhi Election 2024 Live Updates: India’s sixth and penultimate round of the ongoing Lok Sabha elections will go to polls on Saturday for all seven Lok Sabha seats in Delhi, with as many as 889 candidates competing in the elections for 58 seats across six states and two union territories.

In Delhi, the Election Commission has approved the candidacy of 162 candidates. The ruling BJP, which boasted a 100% win rate in the capital in the 2014 and 2019 national elections, will face off against the Congress-led opposition AAP and the Indian National Congress. Under the seat-sharing agreement in Delhi, the AAP will contest four seats, while the Indian National Congress has fielded candidates in the remaining three.

Delhi has the following assembly segments: Chandni Chowk, North East Delhi, East Delhi, New Delhi, North West Delhi, West Delhi and South Delhi.

All 10 constituencies in neighbouring Haryana state will also vote on Saturday. Voting is also taking place in the sixth phase in Uttar Pradesh (14 out of 80 seats), West Bengal (8 out of 42 seats), Bihar (8 out of 40 seats), Odisha (6 out of 21 seats), Jharkhand (4 out of 14 seats) and Jammu and Kashmir (1 out of 5 seats).
