Ahead of National Burger Day on Tuesday, Wendy’s has announced a week-long deal that will see the Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger go for just 1 cent when customers buy something else.
From May 28 through June 2, Wendy’s customers will be able to buy burgers for 1 cent each, the company confirmed to USA Today.
“Celebrate Burger Day the right way with a bite of a Wendy’s burger, made with fresh, never frozen beef,” the company said in a statement.

How to get Wendy’s 1 cent burger sale
To take advantage of the offer, customers must purchase something else and apply the digital offer through the Wendy’s app or wendys.com.
The restaurant is also introducing a new $3 English muffin combo, which, when requested, comes with a bacon or sausage English muffin, egg and cheese, and a small seasoned potato.
Wendy’s takes on Burger King and McDonald’s with $5 meal deals
Wendy’s is reveling in the ongoing feud between it and other fast-food restaurants.
When word got out that Burger King was going to launch its $5 value combo menu, Wendy’s confirmed the news on X (formerly Twitter).
“Please stop exploiting the Biggie Bag concept,” Wendy’s tweeted Thursday night.
In a statement to USA Today, Wendy’s appeared to try to stand its ground, emphasizing that the concept is nothing new.
“We know other companies are trying to catch up with the value of Wendy’s OG Biggie and try to copy our $5 Biggie Bag… but every day since 2019, Wendy’s has offered fans a $5 meal combo that includes a choice of three sandwiches, nuggets, fries and a drink,” the company said in a statement.
Wendy’s is also wrapping up its “Make a Difference during National Adoption Month” program, which allows customers to scan a QR code on their cold drink cup to receive a $5 donation from Wendy’s to the Dave Thomas Adoption Foundation.
By doing so, customers will receive a free Coca-Cola or Dr Pepper drink with their purchase.
