For more than 40 years, USA Pickleball has served as the national governing body for the sport of pickleball in the United States. Founded in 1984, USA Pickleball has been at the forefront of all things pickleball, including facilities, rules, recreational developments and hosting the sport’s highest level national championships.
Founded as an all-volunteer organization near the sport’s inception, USA Pickleball has grown in popularity over the decades to become the fastest growing sport in the U.S. USA Pickleball is committed to the integrity, ethics and promotion of pickleball through its community grants program, refereeing program and 2,000-member strong ambassador program.
A 501(c)(3) corporation, USA Pickleball is not a for-profit organization, but exists for the love of pickleball and the game. USA Pickleball, like the other national governing bodies of the Olympic and Paralympic Movements, remains a non-profit organization whose sole mission and purpose is to promote the development and growth of pickleball in the United States and its territories.
We are grateful to our more than 80,000 members for supporting our efforts to grow pickleball at all levels, and we look forward to serving our community for decades to come.
