The seventh and final round of the 2024 Indian Lok Sabha elections is scheduled for Saturday, June 1. During this period, voters in 57 constituencies across eight states and union territories will cast their votes.
The constituencies are in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Odisha, West Bengal, Jharkhand and Chandigarh. As per the Election Commission guidelines, polling will begin at 7 am and end at 6 pm.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi (BJP) vs Ajay Rai (from Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh)
Modi is seeking a third term from Varanasi having won the 2014 and 2019 Lok Sabha elections, while former BJP leader Ajay Rai joined the Indian National Congress in 2012.
Kangana Ranaut (BJP) vs Vikramaditya Singh (Congress) from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh
In her first election as a politician, actress Kangana Ranaut of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is contesting against Vikramaditya Singh, the son of the late Prime Minister Virbhadra Singh, of the Indian National Congress. Mandi is a stronghold of the Singh family and the seat is currently held by Vikramaditya’s mother, Pratibha Virbhadra Singh.
Anurag Thakur (BJP) vs Satpal Singh Raizada (Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh)
Union Minister Anurag Thakur is contesting against Indian National Congress candidate Satpal Singh Raizada. The BJP leader first became the MP from Hamirpur constituency in 2008 after his father resigned and went on to win three more elections from the constituency in 2009, 2014 and 2019.
Ravi Kishan (BJP) vs Kajal Nishad (Samajwadi Party) (Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh)
BJP candidate actor Ravi Kishan will be taking on Samajwadi Party’s Kajal Nishad. In 2019, Kishan defeated SP candidate Rambual Nishad with over 60% of the votes.
