Summer hasn’t even started yet, but for the past month or so, my social media feeds have been inundated with users sharing the purchases and trends they’re most looking forward to for the warmer months. Naturally, Gen Z has made a fuss and millennials have made videos begging to be obsolete with certain styles (denim shorts were a hot topic), but as the examples of ballet flats and baggy jeans show, there’s very little we can do to get my generation to do what they do. do not Sorry, because we love to, but old trends are back. Don’t worry, not all of the trends Gen Z is championing are polarizing, like long denim shorts and fitted capris. Some, like bag charms and track pants, are loved by all age groups.
As always, this is by no means a trend guide by age. Regardless of what year you were born, the trends below are ones to watch this summer. I searched through Gen Z accounts to find out. Celebrities We spoke to some fashion savvy people and noted some common themes in their recent outfits: go all out with a pair of Adidas pants and a Ganni blouse, or add a touch of understated cool to your wardrobe with a splash of leopard print or a little charm on your favorite handbag.
