As expectations for the election grow
According to a post shared by an X-verified handle, Phalodi Satta Bazar has predicted 209 seats for the BJP.
The graphic, shared on social media, claims that Hindi news channel News2024 was publishing predictions from various illegal gambling markets, suggesting that the Lok Sabha elections would be close. After the graphic began to gain attention, Manak Gupta, editor-in-chief of News24, contacted X and said that the graphic being shared was fake.

The BJP-led NDA is expected to form the central government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to return to the post for a third consecutive term, according to Rajasthan’s Phalodi Satta Bazaar newspaper. A betting market known for its accurate assessments has predicted that the Indian Union will win between 80 and 90 seats.
According to the party’s estimates, the BJP is expected to win 296-300 seats and the NDA 329-332. The latest estimates suggest that the Indian Union may make a significant gain in Uttar Pradesh, dropping the BJP’s seat tally to 55-65 seats from an earlier estimate of 65-70.
