The T20 World Cup is back with a highly anticipated match-up between the world’s top cricket teams, and for the first time, the showcase event will be held in the United States, which will co-host the tournament with the West Indies.
New York City is gearing up for its biggest cricket carnival of the year, with the highlight being the India vs Pakistan match just days away.
The arch rivals will clash at a new venue in Nassau County with a capacity of 34,000. With eight days left for the highly anticipated match between India and Pakistan, ticket prices are rising by the day.
Packages available in Nassau County
According to the ICC official website, six hospitality packages are available at the New York venue – Diamond Club, Cabana, Premium Club Lounge, Corner Club, Pavilion Club and Boundary Club – but only three packages are currently available for the IND vs PAK match.
Diamond Club – The Jewel of Nassau County
The most expensive package is the Diamond Club. Let’s take a look at the facilities offered to spectators who choose this category.
According to the International Cricket Council (ICC), the Diamond Club is the “jewel” of the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium.
The seats are located directly behind the wicket offering the best views of the World Cup action. Enjoy premium food, beverages and experiences in a fully enclosed, air-conditioned exclusive club. Guests can interact with cricket legends, enjoy pre-match field access and other facilities.
Price (surprisingly cheap): According to the ICC website, Diamond Club tickets are divided into four categories: A single ticket in each category is priced at $10,000 or Rs 8,34,323.
Premium Club Lounge
This is the second category of tickets available for the India vs Pakistan match on June 9. The tickets are located behind the wickets in both the North and South Pavilions and offer great views of the pitch and great food and beverage options. The package also includes alcoholic beverages available for purchase.
price: Fans who want the Premium Club Lounge can choose from nine categories. A single ticket in each category is priced at $2,500 or Rs 2,08,585.25.
Corner Club
The final package available for the India vs Pakistan match is the Corner Club, which will feature a dedicated outdoor buffet and bar and a maximum of 92 people per corner for an “intimate and exclusive atmosphere”.
