As many as 21 events including public meetings, temple visits and road shows were held, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath shedding light during the 2024 Lok Sabha election campaign. As he accompanied Yogi Adityanath on temple visits and election rallies across Uttar Pradesh, PM Modi praised the law and order situation in the state.
The 2024 Indian Lok Sabha elections were a marathon six-week contest held in seven phases from April 19 to June 1. Counting of votes for the 2024 Indian Lok Sabha elections will begin at 8 am on June 4.
During the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, PM Modi and Yogi Adityanath attended 21 events together. They jointly held 15 public meetings, participated in five roadshows, and visited the Kaal Bhairav Temple and Kashi Vishwanath Dham. Yogi Adityanath was also seen with PM Modi when he filed his candidacy for the Varanasi Lok Sabha constituency.
According to a press note, Yogi Adityanath along with PM Modi held meetings in Meerut, Saharanpur, Pilibhit, Amroha, Aligarh, Agra, Etawah, Lalganj, Barabanki, Varanasi, Basti, Ghazipur and Mirzapur/Robertsganj. They also held roadshows in Ghaziabad, Bareilly, Ayodhya, Kanpur and Varanasi.
Campaigning for the 2024 Indian Lok Sabha elections ended on May 30 ahead of the seventh and final phase of voting. The votes will be counted by the Election Commission of India on Tuesday, June 4. Ahead of the vote counting, the Election Commission is also scheduled to hold a press conference.
Exit polls have predicted a landslide victory for the BJP-led coalition, the NDA, in India’s 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) were pleased that the exit poll results predicted a landslide victory for their National Democratic Alliance party, but leaders of the opposition Indian Union rejected the results, saying they would win at least 295 seats and form the central government.
