As the high school calendar draws to a close, USA TODAY High School Sports & Play VS We’ll be showcasing the best players for the Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 esports seasons across North America.
methodology: PlayVS will analyze the performance of all schools competing in the Fall ’23 and Spring ’24 seasons to determine the top 25 esports programs in the nation. Schools must be actively competing in at least five unique esports titles to be eligible. Schools will be ranked by the average match win percentage of their top performing teams within each esports title. In the event of a tie on average, the tiebreaker will be determined by average match win percentage and overall program size.
