Pakistan women impress coach Riccardo Fraccari with success at Women’s Softball Championship in Karachi

Karachi:

World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) President Riccardo Fraccari sees a very bright future for softball in Pakistan.

According to a press release, the success of the first Inter-Provincial Women’s Softball Championship in Karachi shows that softball in Pakistan is moving in the right direction and is growing in popularity.

In a video message to Pakistan Softball Federation President Asif Azeem, the WBSC President said the championship is an important step in popularizing softball across Pakistan, especially among women.

“It was a great opportunity for our players from different provinces to showcase their skills and passion. Of course, they elevated their game by displaying good performance and sportsmanship,” he said, adding that he was extremely impressed with the effort, passion and dedication of Pakistan’s women players during the championship.

Riccardo Fraccari said the championship was not just an inter-state competition but an opportunity for players to learn, improve and create a healthy competitive atmosphere.

“I believe this event has strengthened the bonds among the softball community. In this regard, the Pakistan Softball Federation deserves praise for its tireless efforts and dedication towards promoting softball,” he said.
