BJP has registered it’s third win in Karnataka’s Chitradurga. BJP candidate Govind Makthappa Karjool has won with 684890 votes. Congress’s Chandrappa lost , securing 636769 votes. 

BJP won by a margin of mere 48121 votes

Election Results 2024 Live: The Congress, and BJP continue to lead In 8 seats each In Telangana. The Congress nominees were leading in Peddapalle (SC), Mahabubabad (ST), Warangal (SC), Bhongir, Khammam, Nalgonda, Nagarkurnool (SC) and Zaheerabad, according to Election Commission website.

The BJP candidates were leading in Adilabad (ST), Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Medak, Secunderabad, Malkajgiri, Chevella and Mahabubnagar Lok Sabha seats.

Taking to microblogging site X, Swamy wrote, “My estimate of 220 for BJP a low estimate has turned to be very close to the truth of 237. Had the BJP followed the suggestions I had made then BJP could achieved 300. Unfortunately, the dictatorial mindset of Modi has put BJP in a ditch from which it has to now climb out.”
