NEW YORK, The International Cricket Council on Tuesday released additional tickets for several key matches of the T20 World Cup, including the match between India and Pakistan here on June 9, following huge demand from fans for the highly-anticipated showdown between the rivals.

“Following an exciting opening weekend for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024, final ticket sales for the entire event have now opened,” the ICC said in a statement.
“Further general admission tickets have been released for several big matches in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024, including the match between India and Pakistan in New York on June 9.”
“The ICC has worked with its partners to sell additional tickets to ensure as many fans as possible can attend this historic event.”
The ICC also said it would sell more tickets in other categories at the two other US venues hosting the world tournament – Texas and Florida.
“More categories are now available for other matches, including those at Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium in Texas and Broward County Stadium in Florida, where limited general admission tickets are now on sale.
“Fans looking to have the best World Cup experience in the West Indies or the United States can secure Premium Club and exclusive Diamond Club tickets, where fans can rub shoulders with the game’s legends in the best seats,” the statement added.
India will face Ireland in their World Cup Group A opener at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium on Wednesday and then take on Pakistan at the same venue on Sunday.
