UP State Election Results 2024: The Samajwadi Party (SP), which belongs to the INDIA bloc, won the most seats in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly. Led by Akhilesh Yadav, the SP won 37 of the 80 seats in the Assembly, while the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won 33. The Indian National Congress, also part of the INDIA bloc, won seven seats in Uttar Pradesh.

The BJP-allied Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) won two seats, while the Apna Dal (Soneylal) (ADAL) and the Aazad Samaj Party (Kanshi Ram) (ASPKR) won one seat each. The Indian Union is putting up a tough fight against the BJP-led NDA in Uttar Pradesh as vote counting for the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections began at 8 am on Tuesday.

Uttar Pradesh is one of the key states to watch as it will see crucial election contests featuring Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Samajwadi Party’s (SP) Akhilesh Yadav and his wife Dimple Yadav, as well as the Indian National Congress Party’s Rahul Gandhi, who is contesting for the first time from Rahe Bareli.

The outcome of the 2024 Uttar Pradesh elections has become crucial for the BJP as the state will send the maximum number of legislators (80) to the Lok Sabha. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has set a target of winning over 400 seats for his National Democratic Alliance (NDA).

Meanwhile, the All India camp is looking to regain power in the state. Of the 80 Lok Sabha constituencies in Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow, Varanasi, Raebareli, Amethi and Kannauj will be the main focus for the UP election results in 2024. The main Lok Sabha candidates from Uttar Pradesh are Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union ministers Rajnath Singh and Smriti Irani, and opposition leaders Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav.
