Donald Trump sat down for a wild interview with TV psychologist Dr. Phil on Thursday, in which the Republican presidential nominee declared that “revenge can sometimes be justified” as he looks toward a theoretical second term in the White House.

While Dr. Phil largely kowtowing to Trump’s conspiracy-filled views and rampaging through false claims, particularly regarding the recent hush money trial, he did ask the former president about the “most difficult and dark moments” of his public life, how he deals with stress and the impact his campaign is having on his wife, Melania Trump, and their son, Barron Trump.

Asked specifically about his wife, Trump said he thought she was “fine,” but that it was “not easy” for him to read the negative press.

During the broadcast, the candidate addressed supporters in Phoenix, Arizona, as part of an extensive tour of western states, during which he again slammed immigrants and called Joe Biden’s recent executive orders on immigration “bullshit.”

Eleven Trump supporters were hospitalized with heat stroke while waiting in line for the event, and several other MAGA supporters were arrested in New York for blocking roads with flags outside Trump Tower.

Biden campaign criticizes Trump over classified documents scandal during Dr. Phil interview

When Donald Trump sat down for an interview with TV psychologist Dr. Phil on Thursday, the Biden campaign used the opportunity to attack the former president.

He did not elaborate on who he considered to be the controlling force.

“There are people who are manipulating Biden, that’s absolutely true. I think I know pretty much who they are,” Trump said. “But there are also people who are manipulating him, and they’re very smart, and very energetic, and I think they really do believe in their sick ideology.”

Something in the background caught the attention of Biden campaign staff. Martha McHardy Report:

President Trump issues chilling threat in Dr. Phil interview: ‘Revenge is sometimes justified’

Less than a week after a New York jury found him guilty of all charges in his hush money trial, Donald Trump issued a chilling warning that “revenge can be justified” in a bombshell interview with Dr. Phil.

The former president and newly convicted felon continues to lash out at the judge and jury while falsely accusing President Joe Biden of orchestrating the criminal case against him.

Trump has also repeatedly threatened to prosecute his political opponents if he returns to the White House.

Dr. Phil addressed Trump’s threats of retaliation during an interview Thursday night.

Biden vetoed a Republican-sponsored resolution last week that would “improperly limit the SEC’s ability to develop appropriate guidelines and address future issues” regarding crypto assets.

Trevor Traina, a San Francisco-based tech executive and former Trump ambassador to Austria, said business regulations put in place during Biden’s term have alienated some in the tech industry.

“That may have just been the last domino to fall,” Traina said of Biden’s veto.

The cryptocurrency industry has faced increased scrutiny from regulators and is increasingly trying to influence U.S. politicians since the bankruptcies of major crypto companies in 2022 spooked investors, exposing fraud and misconduct and causing losses for millions of investors.

Both Sachs and Palihapitiya have spoken publicly about investing in cryptocurrencies, particularly Bitcoin. A representative for Sachs, who formally endorsed Trump on Thursday, declined to comment. Palihapitiya did not respond to a request for comment.

Jacob Helberg, an adviser to data analytics provider Palantir and a former Democrat until about 2021, said he recently donated about $1 million to the Trump campaign.

“In 2016, the only person I knew from Silicon Valley who supported Trump was a single sample: Peter,” Helberg said, referring to Palantir co-founder and conservative venture capitalist Peter Thiel.

“Today we’re counting dozens, maybe more. Over the last six months, the dam has started to break,” he said.

Helberg, who also helps Trump raise funds, cited the economy, border security, the conflict between Israel and Hamas as reasons for the change in support, as well as a perception of excessive regulation and the politicization of the judiciary following Trump’s conviction in the New York hush money case.

Trump’s campaign has raised record amounts of money since last week’s conviction, and the San Francisco campaign is set to add to his coffers.

Trump raises $12 million in San Francisco tech fundraising

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump raised $12 million on Thursday in San Francisco at an event hosted by two technology venture capitalists, two sources said, that drew Silicon Valley investors disgusted by the Biden administration’s policies.

Venture capitalists David Sachs and Chamath Palihapitiya, along with Mr. Sachs’ wife, Jacqueline, hosted a reception and dinner with Trump at Mr. Sachs’s palatial Pacific Heights mansion, according to an invitation reviewed by Reuters.

Tickets for the rally sold out, with the top price being $500,000 a pop, a source familiar with the fundraiser told Reuters. Republican National Committee member Harmeet Dhillon and another source said the rally raised about $12 million.

While San Francisco has a strong liberal atmosphere (Democrat Joe Biden won 85% of the city’s vote in the 2020 election against then-President Trump), support for Trump is growing among prominent local venture capitalists and cryptocurrency investors ahead of his November rematch with Biden.

“President Trump seems relaxed and happy, joking about AI,” Dillon, the conservative lawyer, wrote in a post on X from the event.

Dillon added that executives from cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase, crypto investor twins Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss, and other crypto leaders were in attendance. Trump said Sen. Elizabeth Warren, who has warned that cryptocurrencies are being used by scam investors and criminals, is “going after cryptocurrencies,” Dillon said.

Attorney General Barr confident Trump hush money conviction will be overturned on appeal

Perhaps trying to win back the good graces of his former boss, former U.S. Attorney General Bill Barr discussed the possibility of success on appeal in an interview with Fox News’ Jimmy Feilla.

Barr said: Fox Across America:

“When people were talking about it, I said it was an abhorrent case, and I didn’t think it would end up being picked up because it was so vague.

“I was amazed they went ahead and did it.

“And it was what you’d expect, which is to say, it was abhorrent and everyone was talking about it.

“But think about it: if Trump loses a very close election and this lawsuit is overturned, how will the American people react? They will.”

“This lawsuit will be overturned.”

Reid slams Donald for claiming the Jim Crow era was a “golden age” for black families

Incredibly, Florida Congressman Byron Donald is still President Trump’s running mate, despite saying that black families were closer together in the bad old days of Jim Crow laws.

But MSNBC’s Joy Reid had zero patience for his nonsense when she interviewed him last night.

This is John BowdenA report on House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries’ response to Donald’s allegations.
