The USC Trojans formally offered Nashville Christian School (Tenn.) quarterback Jared Curtis on Friday.
The 6-foot-4, 225-pound Curtis is rated the No. 1 quarterback in the 2026 class, the top player in the state of Tennessee and the ninth-best player in the country, according to 247Sports’ composite rankings.
Curtis has also received offers from the University of Alabama, University of Florida, Florida State University, Louisiana State University, University of Miami, University of North Carolina, University of Notre Dame, Ohio State University, Pennsylvania State University, University of Texas, Texas A&M University, University of South Carolina and University of Tennessee.
Curtis threw for 2,522 yards with 25 touchdowns and nine interceptions in his sophomore season, and also ran for 543 yards and 13 touchdowns on an average of 5.4 yards per carry.
USC and Georgia vied to acquire former UNLV quarterback Jayden Maiava through the transfer portal, and he ultimately committed to USC.
Curtis is currently committed to play at Georgia, but On3’s Recruiting Projection Machine (RPM) gives Ohio State a 52.8% chance of signing him.
The USC Trojans’ 2026 QB class already includes Ryder Lyons, who will be leaving as an LDS missionary in 2026, Utah’s Helaman Kasuga and Jared Curtis.
