Pakistan recorded a thrilling come-from-behind victory over Ireland in the final match of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 at Lauderhill on Sunday, June 16. Their bowlers impressed with some superb, voracious delivery to limit Ireland to 106, after which captain Babar Azam played a brave knock to lead Pakistan into the chase with three wickets and seven balls to spare.
Already eliminated from the Super 8 qualifying race, both teams tried their hardest to grab a consolation win at a rain-hit Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground. In the final game of the World Cup in the USA, the fast bowlers from both teams performed impressively in difficult match conditions, but the batsmen once again struggled to perform well.
