CINCINNATI — Procter & Gamble Co. plans to relocate thousands of jobs starting at the end of 2024.

P&G told WCPO 9 on Wednesday that it will transfer operations located in the Winton Hill Business Center in the Cincinnati area to either the P&G General Offices downtown or the Mason Business and Innovation Center in Mason.

The transition will take place over the next five years.

“While plans are always subject to change, approximately 300 employees are expected to move to P&G General Offices by the end of the year, with other employees expected to move to the Mason Business Innovation Center after 2026,” P&G said in a statement.

P&G, one of the largest consumer goods companies in the United States, did not provide an estimate for how many jobs it plans to move to Mason, but the transition will be carried out in stages.

Winton Hill Business Centre has been home to some of the company’s baby, family and feminine care businesses since hundreds of jobs relocated to the downtown area in 2016. The 263-acre Winton Hill Centre first opened in 1958 and was last renovated in 2005. Over the years it has housed labs, planning and logistics teams, headquarters for food brands and more.

“P&G remains committed to the Cincinnati region, the place we’ve called home since 1837,” P&G said in a statement.

The company said both its downtown offices and the Mason Center are ideal locations to achieve its objective of “considering space that will accommodate our innovation needs with best-in-class labs and offices.”
