Georgia Tech currently has a top 20 enrollment and is having one of the strongest months of June in the nation, and the school is hoping to make more advances before the month is over. The Yellow Jackets have landed 14 top prospects in June, but it looks like they’re not done yet.

One target they are still targeting in 2025 is three-star edge rusher Herbert Scroggins, who will play at Benedictine Military Academy in Savannah, Georgia. Scroggins is scheduled to announce his school destination next Tuesday, with his top four schools listed as Georgia Tech, Auburn, Miami and North Carolina. Scroggins is scheduled to visit Miami this weekend and was at Georgia Tech last weekend.

Scroggins is rated a three-star prospect and is ranked as the No. 406 player in the country, the No. 29 edge player in the country and the No. 46 player in the state of Georgia, according to the 247Sports Composite. He also holds offers from Liberty, Memphis, Minnesota, Syracuse, Texas A&M, UCF, Virginia Tech and West Virginia, among others.

Auburn University may be the favorite to land Scroggins next week, as the Tigers have received three projections to land the talented defensive end since June 16th, so keep an eye on Auburn next week.

At 6-foot-3 and 233 pounds, Scroggins is a highly intriguing prospect with great athleticism and would pair well with Georgia Tech’s other edge rusher, Andre Fuller, who is also committed in the class.
