Good morning. Warm temperatures will be seen across the region today and Saturday. A heat warning will be issued for inland areas on Saturday, with moderate risk of heat stroke. Temperatures will remain mild through early next week. Today will be the first day of significant warming as an upper-level trough turns into a ridge and moves into the western US. Highs today will be in the mid-80s to low-90s Fahrenheit range. Elsewhere, highs in the low to mid-60s along the coast and low 70s along the Gulf Coast are expected. Temperatures will peak along the Pacific coast on Saturday. A heat warning will be issued for the mountainous areas of the North Inland Bay, East Bay, South Bay and Central Coast on Saturday, with moderate risk of heat stroke continuing through the day. An upper-level trough will develop to the west on Sunday, bringing with it stronger winds from onshore, resulting in a significant drop in temperatures. Good morning. Watch live traffic conditions outside of Hwy 1. There is no delay.
