Paris Men’s Fashion Week is off to a bang, especially when it comes to celebrity style. As expected, topping the best-dressed list is Rihanna, who arrived in the French capital looking her best on Thursday night. Ahead of boyfriend A$AP Rocky’s debut show for creative agency AGWE, the Fenty stalwart kicked off Fashion Week street style with a bang, leaning into the “Fashion Killer” theme. Proving that Parisian style isn’t just about minimalist, chic silhouettes, the occasional splash of a cut-out or two (or, in Rihanna’s case, lots of cut-outs) is also part of the action.
The pop star arrived in Paris late last night (June 20) and literally turned heads in an all-red look. Styled by Nini Nguyen, her outfit as she arrived at Paris’ Hotel Royal Monceau included a floor-length crimson wool coat from Dior’s Fall 2002 collection.
Designed by John Galliano and sourced from Archive Vintage, the slightly oversized silhouette featured large cutouts all over, with a nearly nude finish underneath. RiRi’s coat featured a row of large buttons down the middle, most of it open below the waist, and dramatic slits at the legs. Under Rihanna’s cutout coat, she wore a nude bodysuit that was barely there.
The Fenty Hair founder wore a vibrant red archive piece with white patent-leather brush-heel pumps from Loewe and red aviator sunglasses from The Attico x Linda Farrow collaboration. She also accessorized with gold and diamond-studded jewelry and carried a tan and scarlet color-blocked Baguette shoulder bag from Fendi’s Fall 2013 collection. (Li loves vintage pieces!)

Rihanna didn’t stop there. Shortly after debuting her honey blonde pixie cut, the “Diamonds” singer appears to have already changed up her style. The 36-year-old completed her look with an entirely new hairstyle, with her long, dark brown hair straightened and styled into a deep side bang.
Riri’s love of experimental moments, especially monochrome looks, has never been more evident than when she was recently spotted out and about in Paris. Just last week, she showed off her love of red, aka the hottest color trend of the year, at the Fenty Hair launch event in LA.
Rihanna worked with celebrity stylist Jaleel Weaver to create a custom crimson Khaite look for the brand’s red carpet event. Her look for the night featured a sleeveless scoop-neck blouse, ankle-length skirt, and a loose bomber jacket over it. She paired the oversized silhouette with matching pointy pumps and contrasted it with a stacked ruby and diamond necklace, which was the highlight of the outfit.
Rihanna’s recent sighting in Paris, and her multiple appearances over the past few weeks, prove that she’s not “retiring” from the fashion world (even if her Conor Ives T-shirt dress suggested otherwise). It’s clear that the multi-talent has a packed and busy schedule in more ways than one. Not only is she a mother to two boys, RZA and Riot, she’s also got a whole new Fenty line and, according to Rihanna, is “starting over” with a long-awaited album. In short, there’s still a lot to see from the Barbados-born pop star.
