Until tonight: The evening will be muggy, with temperatures dropping back down to around 90 degrees near sunset under mostly clear skies. As humidity rises, temperatures will slowly drop 12 to 15 degrees in most locations. Lows will be around 70. Winds will be from the south 5 to 10 mph.

Tomorrow (Saturday): Get out early if you want to beat the heat. Temperatures will soar with the sun, with heat index values near 100 by midday and peaking at 105 to 108 by mid to late afternoon. Actual highs will range from 96 to 101 degrees, coolest in the north and west or near the water, to hottest in urban centers. Localized storms are possible as the heat spreads, but don’t get your hopes up.
Temperatures will feel like they’re near 100 degrees until at least sunset, with lows near the record high of the mid 70s to around 80 degrees.
Sunday: There will be more clouds than Saturday, especially in the afternoon, but it’s unclear if that will have a significant impact on temperatures. Temperatures will mostly be in the mid-90s to around 100 degrees. The heat index will also be aiming for around 105. Scattered rain and storms will be likely, arriving later in the day and potentially lingering into the night.
