According to a poll released on June 23, France’s far-right National Rally (RN) party and its allies are expected to come out on top in the first round of France’s parliamentary elections with 35.5% of the vote.
The Ipsos survey The Parisian Newspapers and Radio France In the general election held on June 19 and 20, the leftist coalition New People’s Front (NPF) came in second with 29.5% of the vote.

French President Emmanuel Macron’s centrist coalition came in third with 19.5% of the vote.
Turnout is expected to be between 60% and 64%, significantly higher than the 47.5% turnout in the last general election in June 2022.
The RN is leading in opinion polls ahead of two separate elections on June 30 and July 7, but the party is unlikely to win an absolute majority. Macron called for the vote after his coalition suffered a heavy defeat in EU elections earlier this month.
Another Ipsos survey found that Financial TimesWhen it comes to managing the economy and finances, the National Coalition is considered the most reliable.
The survey showed that 25% of respondents most trusted Marine Le Pen’s RN to make the right decisions on economic issues, followed by the New Popular Front on 22% and Macron’s Bloc on 20%.
