A dance trend inspired by Trisha Paytas, who appeared in Eminem’s music video for “We Made You,” is going viral on TikTok.
TikTok is full of viral dance trends, but the latest one revolves around a specific move from Eminem’s 2009 music video for “We Made You,” in which Trisha Paytas plays Jessica Simpson.
Content creators have revived and popularized her iconic dance, sharing their own versions with funny captions that reference the original music video, garnering millions of views.
The resurgence of the trend was sparked by a June 12 post by TikTok user Chris Krystle, who shared a clip from the “We Made You” video featuring Trisha dancing, which quickly garnered more than 6.2 million views.
The video triggered a wave of nostalgia and curiosity among viewers who were seeing Trisha’s cameo for the first time, and it also laid the foundation for a string of dance imitations.

On June 16, TikTok user troixtroi posted a video of herself attempting the same move: “Bitch you better not do that Trisha Paytas dance from the Eminem video we made there,” she wrote in the video, which quickly garnered over 5.6 million views and went viral.
Since then, many content creators, including popular YouTuber Tana Mongeau, have joined the challenge, with posts garnering thousands of likes and millions of views.
On June 20, Trisha herself joined the trend, sharing a TikTok video in which she reprised the iconic dance. “I can’t believe my dance is still trending after 15 years,” she captioned the video.
In the caption, she shared an interesting behind-the-scenes fact: “Fun fact: I did this choreography myself 🙂 No instructions given.”
Trish’s video has been viewed more than 7.3 million times, with many commenters stunned to find out she was in a music video: “I was sure you were Jessica Simpson at the time,” one person wrote.
“Raise your hand if you thought she was Jessica Simpson in the music video,” commented another, with the comment garnering nearly 7,000 likes. “I honestly had no idea Trisha had been in the industry for this long,” a third added.
It’s the latest trend to take off on TikTok after the “Bro Test” challenge became a huge hit on the app earlier this month.
