JAIPUR: In preparation for the by-elections to be held in five vacant constituencies in Rajasthan, Congress leader Govind Singh Dotasra has set up four-member committees for each constituency. The committees aim to strengthen organisational work and work with grassroots activists to strategise victory for the party. The committees will meet with block, mandal and booth Congress committees to gather feedback on organisational strength and issue instructions to increase the party’s presence among local voters. The aim is to prepare a detailed plan for party candidates to win the elections. The committees comprise senior legislators including MPs, general secretaries, district presidents and state legislators. One committee each has been created for Jhunjhunu, Dausa, Deori Uniara, Himusar and Chaurasi constituencies. According to state Congress general secretary and spokesperson Swarnim Chaturvedi, the committees will work on strengthening party organisation and promoting voter engagement at the ground level. Through direct interaction with grassroots activists and officials, the committee aims to formulate a comprehensive strategy to ensure victory in the upcoming by-elections. One of the committee members for Jhunjhunu constituency is MP Brijendra Singh Ola, for Dausa constituency committee member is MP Muralilal Meena and for Deori Uniara constituency committee member is MP Harish Meena. For Hinusar constituency committee members are district president Zakir Hussain Gaisawat and state assembly member Dungaram Geddar. For Chaurasi constituency committee members include deputy chairman Ratan Devasi, district president Vallabhram Patidar, assemblyman Pushkarlal Dangi and former assemblyman Ramlal Meena.
