The long-awaited day has finally come.
Magic Kingdom’s newest attraction Tiana’s Bayou Adventureis officially open. You’ve already seen a preview of this ride, and we’re excited that you’ll all have a chance to ride it. As you might imagine, Magic Kingdom is expected to be a little crowded. You’re busy today, but how busy are you? Let’s find out.
Since Splash Mountain closed, we’ve been watching Tiana’s Bayou Adventure get rethemed into a new ride, and from the details of the creatures that inhabit the new ride to the incredible animatronics, we’re excited every day.
Opening day for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure has arrived, but how is the Magic Kingdom doing? As expected, it’s pretty busy!
As we headed into Frontierland, there was a long line at Golden Oak Outpost, everyone eager to get their hands on Tiana’s World Famous Beignets.
As much as I love beignets, I wanted to see how many people would show up for the actual rides, and while the crowds were certainly long, they weren’t as crowded as I expected, and it seems like Disney is doing a pretty good job managing the virtual queues and Lightning Lane in the lead up to the opening.
You’ll also be stuck in a crowd if you want to buy Tiana’s Bayou Adventure merchandise. It got a bit hectic when we headed to the Emporium to look at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure merchandise, where the line was overflowing with Cast Members trying to manage it.
Despite the large number of people inside the Emporium, the ride merchandise area was very well organized and calm.
