With Rosalía teasing the boots that will be popular in the coming months (spoiler alert: tall, animal print boots) and Rihanna modeling the transitional jackets we’ll be obsessed with this fall, it’s clear that celebs are already preparing when it comes to fall 2024 trends.
Blake Lively is the latest celebrity to hint at next season’s fashion trends. On June 28, the iconic gossip girl Actor Hailey Bieber was spotted out on a night out with friends in New York’s Greenwich Village wearing the trench coat we’re all going to want when the temperatures drop again. It’s not the Matrix-esque leather jacket that Hailey Bieber wore all the time two years ago, nor the classic beige jacket that we all have in our closets. It’s a denim trench coat.
The actress paired it with a light-hued short denim dress with small gemstone appliques, which she further teamed with silver low-heeled sandals and finished off the look with an oval denim Chanel bag and lots of gold jewelry to elevate the whole look.
Blake Lively isn’t the only one to opt for this look this year: Katie Holmes wore the Chloé design in March, teaming it with a crew-neck sweater and suit trousers (both in black), and decided to top it off with sunglasses, a loose Mansur Gabriel shopping bag, and ballerina shoes with studded straps and coquette bow detailing at the toe.
